Objectives

  • To tackle challenges in our urban environment by finding solutions aimed at the sustainable transformation of environmental, social and economic factors. To focus on sustainability, technology and intervention in a dynamic and complex urban environment.

Impact

  • Activities for training and detecting talent:

  • -Delivery of lectures and talks by AMB specialists.

    - Prizes for case studies and bachelor's and master's theses that respond to challenges or topics raised within the framework of the Chair.

    - Teaching of seminars and technical conferences.

    - Promotion of the call for applications for the employment of interns.

    Research, technology transfer and innovation support activities:

      • - Joint presentation and/or collaboration in Catalan, Spanish and European research projects.

        - Promotion of the call for applications for the employment of a doctoral student at AMB within the framework of the industrial doctorate programme.

    • Knowledge dissemination activities:

  • - Organisation of dissemination sessions on the Chair's activities and results.

    - Collaboration and participation in promoting technical and scientific events on topics of interest.

    - Promotion of publications and exhibitions on the Chair's topics of interest, activities and results.
